HandBrake

If you want to copy a store-bought DVD to your computer, you'll need a way to decode the DVD. Libdvdcss allows you to bypass most DVD protection.

Windows

1. Go into either the win64 or win32 directory (depending upon which version of Windows you are running).
2. Click on libdvdcss-2.dll and choose to save it to your computer.
3. After downloading, copy the libdvdcss-2.dll file to the Handbrake program directory. This should be located in C:\Program Files\Handbrake\

Mac OSX

1. Go into the macosx directory and click on libdvdcss.pkg.
2. Choose to save the file to your computer.
3. After downloading, run the libdvdcss.pkg file. This should install the libdvdcss package for you.
